To marry the high quality of our workforce, technology is also a major key and we have continually invested in the most advanced machinery and technologies so that integral in our production line we have several STUDER, UVA and Voumand grinding machines, Chiron milling centres, and Kadia lapping machines and many others that, during the years, have been tailored according to our specific needs. Thanks to this technological level we can work with the precision required by our sector where the measurement unit is made in microns.

In OMC2 we believe that quality is a fundamental necessity for our customers and therefore we work with the utmost care to ensure that our brand is renowned across the world as a guarantee of, and synonymous with, quality. Our quality system is certified by ISO9001:2015.

 

PRECISION

Our metrological room is equipped with all the necessary test instruments of the most reliable brands - (Mahr, DEA, Zeiss, Leica and others) - in order to keep in strict control all the key features including: roundness, roughness, profiles, coaxially and hardness, and our personnel are constantly being trained ready to meet the more and more strict tests that we have to run in order to ensure to our customers the highest precision results.

In addition, at the end of the manufacturing process all our products are 100 % tested on the test bench. All the production batches are assured with full traceability from the steel bar to the finished part, and we can provide our customer a Test Report for each production batch upon request.

True to the spirit of our ethos of “constant improvement” our technical personnel are continually researching into the raw materials sector and also state of the art machinery in order to secure the best selection, ensuring that we adhere rigidly to the market trends given by the main original equipment manufacturers.

We do believe in the importance of ethics in our labour and for this reason we have defined an Ethic Code which has been endorsed by all our personnel, and we also use the same principle to select our suppliers.


 

GLOBAL MARKET

In spite of the local nature of our firm and of the strong Italian pride which characterises us, ever since OMC2 has been operating, we sell into the global market, 90% of our production being exported in more than forty countries around the world. As stated, OMC2 is open to the world, communicating and networking with the independent companies that deal in the diesel injection spare parts aftermarket.

We are always very interested in collecting all the information coming from the marine sector and to exchange ideas and information with others. In 2007 OMC2 was one of the founding members of EMISA, an international association which is now an important platform for the companies present on the after-market business; Emisa provides services to its members concerning all regulations ruling our sector and also organizes periodical meetings to improve the networking actions among its members.
